Grant Hall Courtroom Public Tours

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) has announced its quarterly public open house of Grant Hall’s historic third-floor courtroom, located on Fort McNair in southwest Washington D.C. The courtroom is the site of the military tribunal, held from May through June 1865, of those thought responsible for the plot to assassinate President Abraham Lincoln.

Guests without a Department of Defense (DoD), Federal or Automated Installation Entry ID are required to register in advance for base access.

Saturday, February 24, the U.S. Army Concert Band provides a musical backdrop with a worldwide reputation for extraordinary musicianship. This performance is free and open to the public, but registration or tickets are required. Event will be held at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, Maryland.
